Gluten Free Passover in Edmonton 2021

The Jewish Holiday of Passover is soon approaching. As part of Passover we have to alter our diet which mainly includes eliminating grains and leaven bread.

Over the years tradition kosher brands such as Manischewitz have produced more gluten free products for Passover.

So once a year a slew of gluten free products become available that the celiac community might enjoy such as:

➡️ Various gluten free egg noodles
➡️ Gluten free pound cakes
➡️ Gluten free panko made from potato
➡️ Gluten free Matzah (large cracker) and gluten free crackers
➡️ Matzah ball mix (a great addition to your favourite gf chicken soup broth)
➡️ Gluten free treats such as Mandel bread (a coffee cookie) and macaroons (coconut treat)
➡️Gluten free cereals

I added some photos in this post.

You can find a lot of hear products either at Andy's IGA in the west end or Sobeys in The Grange.

Please DM me if you have any questions.

Just a few items that you should be able to grab from Andy's IGA or Sobeys Grange before he end of March

A little about Passover from Chabad.org:

The eight-day festival of Passover is celebrated in the early spring, from the 15th through the 22nd of the Hebrew month of Nissan, March 27 - April 4, 2021. Passover (Pesach) commemorates the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. Pesach is observed by avoiding leaven, and highlighted by the Seder meals that include four cups of wine, eating matzah and bitter herbs, and retelling the story of the Exodus
