President's Choice Mango Coconut cooking sauce, Gluten Free

President's Choice has some great sauces, and some of them are gluten free products.  We recently tried the President's Choice Mango Coconut cooking sauce.  Although the label does not specify that it is gluten free, we read over the ingredients as an extra precaution.  If you try this product, we recommend you read over the label as well so you become familiar with the ingredients and ensure that their recipe has not changed.

The sauce has great flavour but had some kick too it, so be cautious if you do not like spicy foods.  It was very easy to make a meal with this Mango Coconut sauce.  This is how we made a gluten free meal from this President's Choice sauce:

Serves 2 + leftovers for lunch

  • President's Choice Mango Coconut Cooking Sauce
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 Cup of frozen peas
  • 1 Fresh Mango
  • 1.5 cups of rice
  1. Cube the chicken breasts
  2. Fry chicken in a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a deep pan.
  3. Meanwhile, start your rice and cube the fresh mango
  4. When chicken is fully cooked through, add bottle of sauce to pan with Mango
  5. Simmer for 5 minutes and add peas
  6. Serve with rice
Add some regular yogurt or cream cheese to cut down the spice if needed.

  1. This was fabulous!! I bought a jar of this sauce bc it sounded delicious. Today I thought I'd use it and went to find a recipe that used it. I found your site. I happened to have a mango so that sealed the deal. You warned that it was pretty spicey and it is, but SO TASTY!! I made 2 cups of rice and could have made another half cup. I fried up cubes of tofu instead of chicken and used spinach instead of peas. I'll use peas next time bc I'm certain that it will be lovely but the spinach was great as well. We did tone it down with some yogurt. Thank you for posting this, rita
