The 2011 Capital Ex Safeway Family Pancake Breakfast Goes Gluten Free

This year Capital Ex's Safeway Family Pancake Breakfast has brought in Kinnikinnick to serve up their gluten fee pancakes for those with Celiac Disease, or for those that are just curious to taste a gluten free pancakes.

Kinnikinnick Pancakes
The Safeway Family Pancake Breakfast is at Churchill Square Thursday July 21st, 2011 between 7 and 10am.  The gluten free pancake breakfast will be the same $3 everyone else pays.  This is a great event for the whole family!  After all, not many kids hate pancakes.

Kinnikinnick's Executive Vice President Jay Bigam was excited to express that this is a first for them.

I think this is great exposure for the Celiac Community.  Kinnikinnick makes a fantastic pancake, and hopefully those curious to try it, see that gluten free doesn't mean tasteless.  So although this is a first for Kinnikinnick, hopefully its not the last.

Also, don't forget about the 2011 Celiac Pancake Breakfast at the Kinnikinnick Store this Saturday to support the Celiac Association.

  1. Terrible breakfast. The food was all cold. The juice was warm and the coffee was terrible!!!

  2. That is unfortunate that you did not have a god experience at the breakfast.

Hopefully if you will have better experience if you go to the Celiac Pancake Breakfast at Kinnikinnick this Saturday.

    Cheers,
