Rice Pasta Shells and Cheddar Cheese by Arrowhead Mills (Essentially, Gluten Free Mac & Cheese)

Well, since Kraft Dinner is out of the question for Celiac's because to my knowledge they don't have a gluten free line of Mac and Cheese, we have to turn else where to get that quick fix.

We tried out a box of the gluten free Arrowhead Mills Rice Pasta Shells & Cheddar Cheese.

I'll admit, it wasn't the best, but it certainly was quick and easy to make.  It was a white cheddar mix, and the sauce might have not thickened up enough.  Amanda didn't eat her portion, so she opened up a can of soup instead for dinner.  You win some you lose some, but it might really be a matter of taste for this one.

We picked this up at Wal-Mart in West Edmonton.  I think I've seen this gluten free product in other places as well around the city.

  1. My daughter really likes this one! Her fave though is the Annie's gluten free mac and cheese, better than the real KD!

  2. I Like the Annies one much better, but another quick fix is Melted Velveta (GF according to Kraft) and Tinkyada shells or macaroni!
