Gluten Free Product Found at Italian Centre: Aurora Rice Gnocchi

Aurora Rice Gnocchi
Simply put, this gluten free product is gnocchi for Celiac'sAurora is a popular italian foods brand that makes a wide variety of noodles and sauces.  I was pleased to find this rice gnocchi in the pasta noodle aisle at the South Side Italian Centre in Edmonton.

I have had it once, and it is no different then regular Gnocchi.  Just look out for the carb content, as rice tends to have more carbs, so this can add up quickly for any diabetics.

Share your favour gnocchi recipe with us and we will post it to the recipes!

NOTE:  As per Aurora foods comment below, the Rice Gnocchi is made in a facility that contains gluten.

  1. Yes we do have rice gnocchi, unfortunately it is made in a factory that carriers other product that have gluten so we do not declare it as gluten free on our label because there may be traces.

It is not on our website yet because it is a relatively new product for us

Thank you for your support of Aurora products,

  5. Aurora gnocchi is awesome! I do prefer their corn gnocchi, though, as it seems to cook up a little less gluey than the rice gnocchi. It used to be always available at the Italian Centre Shop, but lately I haven't been able to find it... I hope it hasn't been discontinued??

  9. When I found this gnocchi product, I was so happy that I bought the rice & corn. Although both were delicious,my husband and I enjoyed the rice over the corn. With that said, my excitement for this discovery was short lived, for each of them bothered my system. I cannot eat gluten without extreme discomfort and pain. While I appreciate this company's effort for making gnocchi without wheat flour, for those who are celiac or have sensitivies, be cautious.
